Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CleanDeploy platform and services provided by Bear Tech LLC ("we", "us", "our") at cleandeploy.io.

By accessing or using CleanDeploy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The Service

CleanDeploy is a job search management platform that provides job listing aggregation, application tracking, AI-powered interview preparation tools, and resume building features. Some features require a paid subscription ("Pro").

2. Accounts

You must create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

3. Free and Pro Plans

CleanDeploy offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. Pro subscriptions are billed either monthly ($18/month) or as a one-time 3-month pass ($45). Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Payment is processed through Stripe.

Automatic renewal. The monthly plan is an automatically renewing subscription: you are charged $18.00 at signup and then $18.00 each month on the same date until you cancel. The 3-month pass is a single one-time charge of $45.00 and does not automatically renew; Pro access ends after 90 days unless you purchase again. You may cancel the monthly subscription at any time from your dashboard (Subscription & Billing), effective at the end of the current billing period, with no cancellation fee. Cancellation is as simple as signup.

Pro subscriptions are governed by these Terms in full, including the Service Intellectual Property protections in §9 below. By upgrading to Pro, you affirm acceptance of those provisions as a condition of access to Pro features.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account settings. Monthly subscriptions remain active through the end of the current billing period. Three-month passes are non-refundable but remain active through the full 90-day period. We may offer refunds at our discretion on a case-by-case basis.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into CleanDeploy, including application details, contacts, notes, and uploaded resumes. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You may export your data at any time using the built-in export feature.

6. AI-Generated Content

CleanDeploy uses AI models to generate content such as interview prep plans, cover letters, negotiation scripts, and resume rewrites. This content is provided as a starting point and suggestion only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any AI-generated content before using it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated outputs.

7. Job Listings

Job listings displayed on CleanDeploy are aggregated from third-party sources. We do not verify the accuracy of job postings, employer details, or salary information. We are not responsible for the content of third-party job listings or the hiring practices of any employer.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to harass, spam, or harm others
• Scrape, crawl, or programmatically access the service beyond normal use
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
• Use the service to violate any applicable law or regulation
• Resell access to the service or AI-generated outputs as a commercial product
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free trial limits

9. Service Intellectual Property

Ownership and retained rights. All software, algorithms, scoring logic, prompt structures, model instructions, classification rules, ranking methodology, role-matching engine, salary estimation engine, verification engine, user-interface elements, and any other technology or data structures underlying the Service are the exclusive intellectual property of Bear Tech LLC. These elements are protected as trade secrets and under copyright law. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to USE the Service for personal job-search purposes only. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any CleanDeploy intellectual property to you.

Prohibited activities. In addition to the restrictions in §8, you may not:

• Attempt to extract, reconstruct, document, or publicly disclose the system prompts, model instructions, internal scoring logic, classification rules, or any other internal configuration of the Service, including through prompt injection, social engineering, or any other adversarial technique
• Use the Service, or any output of the Service, to build, train, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve any product or service that competes with CleanDeploy
• Use Service outputs as training data, benchmark data, or evaluation data for any machine-learning model intended for resume tailoring, job matching, application generation, recruiter-targeted content, or job-board curation
• Share, sublicense, rent, or transfer your Pro subscription credentials, access tokens, or API outputs to any other person or entity
• Remove, obscure, or alter the "CleanDeploy Verified" stamp, attribution marks, or any other proprietary notices in generated content

Pro acknowledgment. Pro subscribers explicitly acknowledge that continued access to advanced features (including the AI Apply Kit, tailored resume generation, recruiter talking points, verified-credentials integration, AI interview preparation, and salary negotiation scripts) is conditioned on agreement to and compliance with this §9. Violation may result in immediate account termination, subscription cancellation without refund, and legal action including but not limited to claims for breach of contract, trade-secret misappropriation, and copyright infringement.

Surviving termination. The obligations in this §9 survive cancellation of your subscription and termination of your account.

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep CleanDeploy available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bear Tech LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising from your use of CleanDeploy. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bear Tech LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of CleanDeploy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases, though we will retain data as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
